The wife of Big Brother Naija former housemate, Frodd, Chioma has opened up on how she was body shamed by her sister while pregnant.
In an interview with Maria Chike on her Mums Next Door podcast, she revealed that she hated it when her sister body shamed her. According to her, her sister told her she had a water body (meaning she has a body that can make her fat easily if she eats too much), hence, she should reduce her the amount of foods she takes daily. Because of her sister’s hurtful words, she made a promise to her, which she kept true to.
Frodd’s wife further opened up on her postpartum struggles, revealing that after she gave birth, she wanted to be on her own, was always crying and found it difficult to bond with her baby.
“I have been body shamed before and that’s was when I was pregnant. It was a personal stuff between me and my elder sister.
I think it is important we talk about it because I hated it.
My sister told me that I had water body (someone who can get fat easily) so I should watch whatever I am eating. She said I would have a big bum and would blow very soon.
Because of those things she said I promised to show her Shege, that I would give birth and not be fat.
After I gave birth, I wanted to be on my own, I was always crying and found it difficult to bond with my baby”.
Kemi Filani reported in August, 2023 that while Frodd was in the All Stars house, his wife gave birth to their first child, a baby girl. The reality star met his baby a week later after he was evicted from the show.
Recall that in February 2023, Frodd tied the knot with Chioma with some of his colleagues and billionaire businessman, Obi Cubana in attendance.
