The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) is an annual celebration of excellence in African film and television, organised by MultiChoice through its Africa Magic channels.
Since its launch in 2013, the AMVCAs have recognized outstanding talent both in front of and behind the camera — honouring actors, directors, writers, editors, and content creators — through a combination of audience votes and jury selections.
Today, the AMVCAs are regarded as one of the most prestigious and glamorous events in African entertainment.
At the 11th edition, Nollywood shone brightly as Femi Adebayo’s Seven Doors won two major awards: Best Lead Actor for Femi Adebayo and Best Lead Actress for Chioma Chukwuka, firmly establishing the film as one of the year’s standout achievements.
