Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has teased the return of her hit movie, Aiyetoro Town.
Taking to her Instagram page, the box office Queen announced that season 2 of the movie would be available on YouTube on June 22nd. The filmmaker urged her fans to get ready for laughter, drama, and life lessons.
Funke appreciated her cast and crew’s dedication and talent, which made the story come alive.

It seems like Funke is spreading her wings to YouTube as just last month, Funke had excited many by announcing that Omo Ghetto: The Saga was coming to the popular platform. She urged her fans to brace themselves for the drama, suspense, and nonstop humour.
Funke Akindele’s consistency and dedication to her project has made her the box office Queen in Africa. Early last year, the filmmaker made history as the first Nigerian filmmaker to gross over a billion at cinemas, as her movie, A Tr!be Called Judah, grossed over N1.4 billion.
Not relenting, Funke beat her previous record as her 2024 Cinema movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa grossed 1.6 billion.
It was no surprise to many as Funke is one of the most hardworking women in Nollywood. Her movies in the past three years, A Tr!be Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto The Saga, are the highest-grossing Nollywood films ever.
