Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele seems to have headed to the unsolicited advice from a troll as she storms the gym.
A day back, a male troll had advised her and her colleague, Toyin Abraham to shed weight as he noted how they had changed shape and signature, which isn’t good for their career. He stated that it was unwise they are getting fat and yet feeling unbothered, thinking it’s an evidence of good living.
Though Funke had replied him with a little insult, as she appreciated him for the unsolicited advice, the movie star seems to have taken his words to heart as she hit the gym, hours after his comment.
Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a clip of her at the gym, shedding out some weight.

On Sunday, her rival, Toyin Abraham was mercilessly mocked online over her body shape. A video of her showing off her dance steps on a movie set made rounds online which left many trolling her. Toyin, who was unbothered had reshared the video on her Twitter page with a caption poking fun of herself. She called herself a shapeless woman, who looks like Amoeba and Johnny Bravo.
Taking to her comment section, one troll expressed gratitude that the movie star is aware of her shapeless body and she admitted that she is aware of her shapeless look. Another troll disagreed with her, stating that he knows she was pained by the comment and she responded by making him know she can’t be pain since she was the one who publicly posted the video.
Funke Akindele has over the years developed a thick skin to her trolls. Last year, she replied a Twitter user who advised her to get remarried. The tweep had urged her to get remarried in 2024, pointing out how the filmmaker is getting old, and Funke responded by appreciating him for the advice, noting how he was the wedding planner.
