Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele Bello has revealed why she wouldn’t been showing off her kids identity to the world.
The couple who welcomed twin boys in December, 2018 have kept their faces hidden for years.
Funke Akindele wouldn’t be following in the footsteps of Tiwa Savage, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Toyin Abraham and others who kept their babies underwraps until they were ready to reveal them to the world.
Speaking in a recent interview with blogger Jide Okonjo, she explained why she wouldn’t be unveiling her kids’ faces despite the pressures from fans.
Funke Akindele said, “Don’t you see my home? Don’t you see my husband? Don’t you see the back of my children? How is that one private? The children’s face is that what you are trying to say? No.
According to the actress her kids would decide whether to reveal themselves to the world or not, “When they are old enough, they should show their faces if they want to. But for now. I don’t want them to show their faces. I want them to have their lives and enjoy it. When they are old enough, they should show their faces if they want to. She added, “Their dad and I are already in the public eye. They are children, don’t forget. They are children. They are vulnerable so you have to just keep them away, keep them safe. In the post shared on her Instagram story, Funke Akindele said she could not fight back the tears of joy watching her children partake in school activities like others.
Funke Akindele said the feeling of motherhood is so good and joyful as she prays for those trusting God for the fruit of the womb.
According to Funke Akindele, God will answer the prayers of all those trusting Him for babies and give them a new song.
She wrote: I’m here at my kids school to watch their xmas play. I keep fighting back the tears of joy. I thank God for making me a mother!!. The feeling is so good.
