Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has penned a heartfelt note to her colleague, Mercy Johnson, over her love and support for her.
Mercy Johnson, via her Instagram page, shared a video of herself promoting Funke Akindele’s new movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, with her first daughter, Purity. She promised to be at the cinema in Ajuba to join them in watching the much-talked-about movie.
“It’s all about Everybody Loves Jenifa. Abuja has always been ready”.
Taking to her comment section, Funke appreciated her for her love and support and prayed for God to bless her.
“My darling. Thank you so much for the love and support. God bless you more”.
Replying to her, Mercy stated that Funke deserved it and more.
“You deserve it and more, Queen.”
Mercy and Funke have shared an enviable bond since she appeared in the filmmaker’s 2022 Cinema movie, Battle on Buka Streets.
Funke had showered praises on Mercy for doing an awesome job with her role in the movie. She stated that it was so much fun working with her and described Mercy as a fantastic actress.
Acknowledging the appreciation post, Mercy Johnson responded by praising Funke for her humility and leadership and for nurturing her on set.
In an Instagram video, Mercy disclosed some interesting facts about her experience with Funke. She described her character as a grumpy person who complains about everything around her.
When Funke turned 47 in August, the wife of Politician, Prince Okojie showered her with praises. Sharing a video of the celebrant, she expressed how proud she was of her and all she has achieved. Praying for her, she affirmed her love.
