Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has revealed why she took a break from micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
While responding to a fan’s query in while she left the platform, the mother of two revealed that the insults on the app were too much for her, hence why she quit.
The fan wrote, “Madam Funke Akindele I see you…. Longest time…you run away for us Abi what happened?”.
She replied, “Dem too dey insult people on this App so I stay off. How are you?”.
Recall that Toyin Abraham suffered a worse fate On Twitter as she was mercilessly dragged on social media.
Unlike Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham stayed put on Twitter and gave it hot to her trolls.

Fed up from the trolling, Toyin Abraham cried out over the bullying and insults she had received for campaigning for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In an interview, the mother of one stated that she has never seen this type of trolling before in her entire life.
Toyin noted how many went the extra mile to petition her brands and to urge Netflix to take down her movies.
She added that she was intimidated, bullied, insulted, and cursed because she supported the now President-elect.
“The intimidation, bullying, abuses, curses in Nigeria, I have never seen this before in my entire life”, she said.

The fan stated that should Toyin produce another movie, she would end up watching it alone in Tinubu’s parlor.

A confident Toyin Abraham made the fan know that she isn’t a social media actress not one who got her fame through social media.
She is assured that when she releases any movie, people at the grass root would watch it as they respect her choice.
