Following her win over the weekend at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA 8), actress Funke Akindele has received a grand welcome into her estate by her neighbors.
Kemi Filani reports that youths in the estate gathered to hail and chant songs of victory in her honor as she drove in.
Sharing a clip on Instagram, an emotional Funke Akindele wrote “awww this is so emotional!! Thank you my #Amenestatefamily I feel so honored and loved. See as I Dey shine teeth. All glory to God for the continuous blessings and victory. Thank you guys for always having my back. I love you all. Now back to work!!! “
Kemi Filani recalls that Movie producer and former singer, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz has showered love on his wife, Funke Akindele Bello.
The couple won big at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards where they bagged two awards, Best Actress in a Comedy for Omoghetto the Saga and Best Make-Up for Omoghetto the Saga.
Taking to his Instagram page to rejoice over the good news, he heaped praises on the actress for the big win.
JJC Skillz wrote, “To God be the Glory we took two home. Congratulations to my wife @funkejenifaakindele and the whole team @sceneonepd. To all the fans, we love you. Thanks for the love and support through the years. Time to jump into the after-party. We move to celebrate”.
