Nigerian gospel singer, Funke Glorious has called out her colleague, Yinka Alaseyori over copyright infringement.
In a video captured online, Funke had called out Yinka for allegedly stealing her song.
She noted how Yinka was used to stealing her colleagues’ songs and would pretend to be innocent.
Calling on her people close to the singer to warn her, Funke made it known that her silence isn’t stupidity as she has copyright of her songs.
“Anybody who knows her should warn her. When you do something bad, you wouldn’t talk about it, you would keep quiet. What rubbish is that in this industry? You did it the first, second, and now the third. Did they swear for you?
If I choose to keep quiet, it isn’t because I am stup!d. I have copyright of my songs”.
Tope Alabi mocks Yinka Alaseyori
Some years back, a video of senior colleague Tope Alabi mocking Yinka Alaseyori’s hit song ‘Oniduromi Mi eseun o’ (my guarantor, I’m grateful), went viral on social media.
In a video that made rounds on social media, Tope Alabi said God isn’t her guarantor because He’s more than a guarantor.
According to Tope Alabi, if Adeyinka Alaseyori had sung the song from the Holy Spirit’s leading, she would understand that God is more than a guarantor and will not say such a word.
Mercy Chinwo and Minister GUC severe ties, days after shady post
Still on drama in the gospel music industry, Mercy Chinwo, and Minister GUC had caused a stir online as they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Kemi Filani did a check on their respective pages and noticed that the gospel singers, who have once worked together, had cut ties. A look at their followers showed they are no longer following each other.
Prior to the unfollowing, Mercy Chinwo, and Minister GUC were good friends and had performed at each other’s wedding.
Mercy Chinwo was also formerly signed to the record label, Minister GUC is signed to.
This came days after GUC posted a shady post about ungrateful people, which many believed was aimed at Mercy Chinwo.
The gospel singer, who has been putting up posts hinting at their break-up, had shared a post on not expecting much from people.
Social media users had a field day reacting to it. While others mocked them for preaching the gospel and yet keeping malice, others defended them.
