Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha has blessed her fans with some insightful words about life.
The mother of two stated that she prefers to be true to herself event at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others rather than to be false and incur her own abhorrence.
The actress who resides in the US tutored her fans on what integrity is.
She opined that it integrity means bit settling for less than what one deserves in relationships.
“I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to he false and incur my own abhorrence. Living with integrity means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your values. Making choices is based on what you believe and not what others believe. If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it. For integrity is doing the right thing when nobody’s watching and doing as you say you would. Integrity and character make a man. Mental wellbeing, family, peace, self-respect, values, character, integrity, and sound judgment should not be slaughtered on the altar of fame”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Georgina Onuoha had slammed those using illicit means to acquire wealth and the need to differentiate ill-gotten wealth from genuine wealth.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress said no matter how an individual tried to sugarcoat fraud and manipulate other people to make money, fraud was equivalent to been a thief.
Georgina warned people against worshipping criminals, embezzling public funds meant for road construction, schools, electricity and other basic infrastructure.
According to the actress, some of the slay queen been worshipped on social media benefit from money meant for retirees, teachers and doctors.
She added that until ill-gotten wealth was differentiated from actual wealth build on integrity, people will continue to be their worst nightmare.
