In a recent development, Afrobeat sensation Adekunle Gold has engaged in an online spat with a fan known as Nell.
He had taken to the ex platform to announce that, in the past week, he had gotten paid every day.
In his words, he stated,
“I’ve gotten paid everyday for a week straight!
“Everyday is a payday” hits even harder now!”
A Twitter user did not seem to like his statement and revealed that it was not a flex as he has also been making money everyday but this time around for 2 whole years.
However, netizens could not help but note that the entire conversation was a humorous one seeing it was it was possible for him to realize more money in a week than this fan could have made in two years.
Also recalled that, just 5 days ago, Kemi Filani had reported that a Adekunle Gold had broken down in tears following his show selling out on the Wembley Arena in London.
His ever supportive wife, Simi, was also by his side as she comforted him. Also recalled that, a few days back, a decadent old lad made a public appeal to his fans and lovers as he teased the release of his new music.
Taking to the platform, he revealed that he and his wife were going to drop new songs and would definitely need the public to listen to them.
He further stated that he had to pay his debts as promised and, as such, badly needed them to stream his song.
