Ghanaian celebrities have taken to social media to console Afia Schwarzenegger over the demise of her father.
The media personality took to her Instagram page to announce the sudden death of her father who she branded her “hero”
“My hero has gone to be with the Lord. Rest in peace Daddy… I’m lost” Afia Schwarzenegger wrote.
Reacting to the post, Selly Galley wrote, “In everything we give thanks to God … May HE be your strength in these times. My deepest condolences AFIA”
Abeiku Santana wrote, “Awwww Daddy  @queenafiaschwarzenegger you fought a good fight for Daddy , May the Angels of God carry Daddy home safely… Be strong dear”
Other celebrities like Fantana, Lydia Forson and others consoled her.
Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa aka Afia Schwarzenegger, a controversial Ghanaian media figure, was born on February 14, 1982, in Kumasi, Ghana. She hosted the morning show Yewo krom on Okay FM and the Kokooko show on UTV Ghana.
She is the CEO of Schwar TV on YouTube, the host of The Breakfast Show, and the Association of Children Homes and Orphanages in Ghana has named her as the ambassador for orphans in Ghana.
She is also the creator of the Leave2Live Foundation, a domestic abuse support group, and Owontaa Street Ministry, a non-profit organization that feeds Ghana’s least fortunate. Afia has also worked for Kasapa FM and TV Africa. She rose to prominence as a result of Deloris Frimpong Manso’s Afia Schwarzenegger TV series.
Her parents are Augustine Agyei and Grace Achiaa. She obtained her basic education at the Ridge Experimental School after which she moved to the Northern Region and enrolled at the Seventh Day Adventist School in Tamale.
She schooled in two Senior High Schools (SHS) – St. Louis Girls’ School and KNUST Secondary School, in Ghana. After her divorce from Godson Yaw Boakye, Afia Schwarzenegger had a white wedding earlier in South Africa and a traditional wedding in Accra. This was her third marriage, with reports indicating that it may not be her last.
Afia Schwarzenegger is well-known individual who have attained notoriety for engaging in acts that sometimes outrage, shock, disappoint or divide members of the public.
In 2015, she was arrested in Accra for reportedly beating a man who reportedly stole her iPhone.
