It is raining wedding bells this year as Modupe Oreoluwa Sanwo-Olu, the beautiful daughter of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu officially ties the knot.
The beautiful daughter of the Governor wedded her lover, Oladele Johnson at a high-profile wedding ceremony on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Lagos. The holy ceremony was officiated by the Diocesan Bishop of Lagos, Rt. Revd. Ifedola Gabriel Okupevi.
In attendance at the wedding ceremony were Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dr. Alex Otti of Abia State, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and wife and many others.
The white wedding came a week after the couple had their wedding engagement, which was more low-key.
Modupe Oreoluwa is a lawyer by profession, working at Olaniwun Ajayi, a foremost legal firm in Lagos.
Still on wedding, last month Omoni Oboli had expressed gratitude to her Maker as her son finally tied the knot.
The mother of three who announced in January that her son was set to walk down the aisle, revealed revealed via her Instagram page that her son had tied the knot in a low-key wedding ceremony. Omoni shared a photo of her, her husband, and the new couple with a message of gratitude, stating that God did it for them.
Omoni revealed that her son got married on a cold winter evening but it was very warm in their hearts. She noted how they had the most beautiful wedding ever with family and friends.
Similarly, Big Brother Naija Level Up housemates, Queen held her wedding introduction in her hometown in Akwa Ibom, which had in attendance some of her colleagues like Nini Singh. Following the wedding introduction, Queen bragged about her bride price being paid in full, as she officially changed her name to Mrs Queen Oyekanmi Adedeji.
On Saturday, March 17th, the reality star and her man, David legally tied the knot. The civil wedding was held at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos with friends, family, and close ones of the couple in attendance.
Following their civil wedding, the couple held a wedding party which had some of Queen’s colleagues in attendance.
