It is been 2 years since Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar made a public appearance following her battle with an unknown ailment.
The Nollywood star for the first time stepped out in style in Kogi State for the Governorship election.
Sharing photos and clips online, she expressed how honored she was to be back in his State as she noted how it was her first outing in 2 years.
Expressing gratitude to her creator, she thanked Him for showing up for her.
“It was an honor Kogi State. Nothing like home. Kogi State election. My first outing in 2 years. God showed up for me. Amb Halima Abubakar”.
Taking to her comment section, many of her fans joined her in praising God as they anticipated her return to the screen.

Kemi Filani reported in 2022 that Halima became bedridden following her altercation with Apostle Johnson Suleman. Her family also took to social media to call out the clergyman to stay away from her.
However, many alleged that the actress was battling an autoimmune disease. Debunking the claims, Halima shared her medical report which was shoved aside as many claimed that the report doesn’t prove anything.
Following her recovery, Halima Abubakar made her first return to Instagram, sharing pictures of herself as she penned an appreciation post to her creator and team.
Recall that for three months, Halima had opened up on her affair with Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministry, revealing how the clergyman reached out to her and how their affair began.
The then-ailing actress insisted that she never knew Suleman was married as he told her that he was separated, and she pleaded with him countless times to reconcile with his wife, but he remained adamant.
Halima claimed that Apostle Suleman proposed to her seven times but she rejected his proposal. Unbothered by the rejection, he involved the actress’s parents in their affair and had a wedding introduction with her.
