Actress and business woman, Wumi Toriola has showered love on her colleague Jide Awobona on his birthday.
Sharing photos of the birthday celebrant Jide Awobona on her Instagram page, Wumi Toriola wrote “Jide Jide bobo. Happy birthday to a happy soul that knows how to calm storms. Kemi Filani recalls that Wumi Toriola in October 2021, was accused of publicly assaulting her maid and dumping her by the roadside, after forcing her to write an under-taking in a police station.
The housemaid, Motunrayo Azeez said the actress melted the assault on her after she accused her of drugging her son, she said the husband of the actress also called a solider to also beat her up in their home.
Toriola, who denied beat Azeez, said her son had slept for days before and seeing the nanny giving him drugs without her permission raised her suspicion. She alleged that neighbours had reported to her that the nanny always beat her child.
