A popular Ghanaian actress has blasted Ghanaian musicians after international superstars, Wizkid, Burna Boy bagged their first Grammy awards in the 63rd edition of the global award.
In the video shared on social media, actress Akuapem Poloo took to her social media handle to slam Ghanaian artists who brag and flaunt their wealth without any solid award to show for it. She further advised they work hard as they emulate Burna Boy and Wizkid.
Where are my Ghanaians artist are? Now Hide your face, we don’t go to grammy with a big mansion. You see how Burna Boy and Wizkid made their country proud? YOU always brag about mansion, G-wagon and Jagua. Who told you, we use mansion to Grammy. Work hard that’s what we need. She said.

Another Ghananian artist also took to the microblogging platform to celebrate Nigerian act while calling out his colleagues in Ghana to do better.
“With all due respect let all other African Nations give it up for Nigeria. For their constant efforts in holding the mantle for Africa when it comes to entertainment on the Global scene. Congrats for holding it down at the Grammys. As for Ghana, smh i’ll be back.”
