Nollywood actress Damilola Adgbite has expressed appreciation to God as she shares how God rescued her from food poison.
Damilola Adegbite took to her Instagram story to share a photo of apple fruit on a plate that she had wanted to eat but had already spoilt.
According to the actress, God had instructed her to cut the fruit open, and she is thankful that she did not consume it directly.
She wrote: It’s God that said I should cut it open.
Kemi Filani News recalls Damilola Adegbite, recently opened up on her failed marriage to her colleague, Chris Attoh and the lessons she learnt afterwards.
The ex-couple who met in MNET’s TV Series, Tinsel began dating after working together on the movie, they later got married in February 2015, had a child but got divorced two years later.
Speaking in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Damilola Adegbite revealed circumstances that led to the marriage breakup.
“It didn’t work. I learnt a massive lesson from that experience and it is that love is not enough. When you meet somebody and you want to spend the rest of your life with them, love is just one of the qualities that you need, but it’s not everything.”
Damilola Adegbite went further to distinguish the popular marriage mentality from hers and how it doesn’t fit into her lifestyle.
According to her, a failed marriage is not the tragedy people make it out to be. Not every marriage is ordained by God. She reminisced how she had fought and prayed hard right to the end of the marriage and how she knew in her heart that she did her best.
