Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande recently turned 40 and she threw an intimate low key party which had her friends and family in attendance.
Spotted at the birthday was her husband Olumide Akande as well as Annie Idibia, 2Baba, Michelle Dede, Ezinne Chinkata and more.
“So here’s the thing….I didn’t really feel like celebrating my 40th…Earlier on in the year I struggled with my new age approaching and feeling like I hadn’t accomplished all the things I had expected to have done by now( can you imagine?? This devil shaaaa)..Then the aha moment where I realized it’s a journey and I have to embrace every stage. Suffice it to say that God has been faithful and surprised me in a major way! (big announcements loading) and I listened to my husband who said “you’re only 40 once babe”….it was a very low-key, joyful celebration and I’m so grateful for all the love” Dakore disclosed.
