It is no longer news that veteran singer, Oluwadamilare Okulaja, also known as Durella has been off the music scene for a while now. The singer who is often compared to D’banj has said he is not fighting to be Nigeria’s number artiste.
The ‘Enu Ose’ crooner who is set to release a new album has averred that though he has been out of circulation, he is not focusing on being number one.
“I am not fighting to be number one. I am not fighting for titles. I have my title already. There are a lot of number one artiste out there, people that are better than the best but nobody knows them, be satisfied with whatever God gives to you”, he told Punch.
Durella who is based in Paris but back in Nigeria also opened up on why he started his own condom brand.
“People wanted to crucify me saying Durella he likes women so I decided to do something in that direction. We brought out this condom called ‘Zanga Swagga’.We are looking for sponsors that we can work together. People say Durella like women, so I just want to give something back to my fans who miss me”.
