It is indeed a sad weekend for Nicki Minaj and family as they recently lost their father.
According to Nassau County Police in New York, the rapper’s father was hit by a vehicle while he was walking on the road in Mineola on Long Island, on Friday evening, February 12.
Police stated that the driver then fled the scene without a meaningful description from witnesses. Following the accident, Robert was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed on Saturday, February 13.
Police say they are currently investigating the case and seeking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of the car
