Award winning comedian Otaghware O Onodjayeke, better known as I Go Save, has made an observation about marriages of today.
In an Instagram story, he noted how some marriages aren’t about love but about who can give them their dream wedding, fame, and connections, and when they get this, they file for divorce.
I Go Save admonished the singles to search their hearts before saying I Do.
“E be like say these days, some marriages no be about love again o.
It’s about who can give you your dream wedding, fame, and connections, then Divorce.
Before you say, I Do, search your hearts”.
Similarly, actress, Sarah Martins had broken down on social media as she spoke on the struggles of a faithful woman. She noted how some women are going through a lot in their marriages as their husbands sleep with different women yet find it difficult to touch their wives. Sarah sent a message to men pleading to pay attention to their women.
Veteran actress, Rita Edochie had dished out some marital advice to women following a video that emerged about a lady suffering emotional abuse Rita decried the rate at which women hold back after being abused repeatedly by their partners. She admonished them to walk away without looking back and slammed men for body-shaming women.
In different news, last year, I Go Save cried out over the level of hunger in the country. He stated that the hunger in this country was so loud that one doesn’t need earphones to hear the sound. I Go Save revealed that the number of people asking him for help during the Christmas season was a record-breaker. Sending a message to Nigerians, he told them to lend a helping hand to whoever they can.
