Olufunsho Amosun, the wife of Ibikunle Amosun, an ex-governer of Ogun state, has revealed how much her husband has changed since they got married over thirty years ago.
Reflecting on how she married him and how much he has changed in 30 years, the former first lady shared throwback photos from their wedding of him in a suit and recent photos of them where Ibikunle Amosun had Agabadas on.

Over thirty years ago I married a charming corporate suit dresser of a guy, a qualified chartered accountant, with a flourishing accounting firm of his own – not bad huh☺️
Today I’m blessed with a selfless satellite dish capped man, constantly dressed in parachute agbada, who applies his professional skills with integrity to everything under his purview.
Some things however never change, what got me then, and still has me going now, is this man’s unparalleled faith and trust in God and his total commitment to the welfare of mankind.” She concluded.
Kemi Filani recalls that in 2021, the former Ogun State Governor Mr. Ibikunle Amosun and his wife Olufunso celebrated 30 years of staying married.
The governor whose first daughter, Ayomide married Oladipupo Dabiri (son of Abike Dabiri) celebrated the special day with his wife in Lagos with family and friends in attendance.
They are blessed with five children.
Amsosun is one of the rare husbands many women pray for.
In 2018 during a meeting in Abeokuta with party members, he revealed that he has never slept with any woman but his wife, Olufunso since they married.
In a veil reference to his political rivals, the governor said: “They gather some people, sit in one corner and write rubbish, thinking that such will shake me, I don’t lose sleep over such things.
I do not have extra marital affair since I got married. How can I engage myself with unscrupulous things? I have called my children and told them not to bother themselves with any rubbish that might be published about me, because as a governor, I cannot have any private life again and I warned them to be careful of their actions and inactions.
“Thank God, my children are all matured. They understand what is happening. They are not bothered at all. “My wife even challenged me that she heard that somebody gave birth to twins for me. I told her that there was nothing like that. I told her not to bother herself on the matter because there was no iota of truth on the matter,” he told the large audience, including traditional rulers. He added: “I do not have plan of marrying another wife now. That is not part of my plan now. One wife is even a problem.
When I am 70 years old, I can then marry another wife, because I and my wife must have grown old and we will need a younger woman who can take good care of us.”
