Nollywood actor cum politician Yul Edochie has debunked the rumours circulating the internet over his latest acquisition as a new landowner in Lagos.
The news of his achievement broke the internet about three days ago when he revealed his struggles as a mobile actor in a beautifully furnished flat, adding that he never knew he would become a Lagos landlord one day.
However, many people misunderstood his statements as they congratulated him for being a house owner; little did they know he was just reflecting on his past struggle.
In a bid to debunk the rumours making rounds, the actor said he never said he just built his house, and people should deem it necessary to do a proper investigation before circulating news that is not true.
According to the presidential aspirant, the house he has been staying in since 2019 is now being publicised in 2021.
He wrote:
Yul Edochie becomes latest landlord in Lagos. 2021 news. That’s the story I’m seeing everywhere.
Nigerian bloggers won’t even do proper investigation before writing. I tell una say I build new house? House wey I don dey live inside since 2019. I tire for una oo.
