The year 2020 was a tumultuous one for Nigerian singer Lil Frosh, as he was accused of hitting his girlfriend, a popular social media influencer called Okeoghene Taiye Iyomateire, also known as Cute Gemini.
The allegations were that Lil Frosh had hit her, causing her face to swell up. This issue escalated so much that Lil Frosh got arrested, got dropped from Davido’s record label and he also lost a lot his fans. This led to his music career being on unstable grounds with his songs no longer topping charts.
Lil Frosh has been quiet on the internet since then, only promoting his songs. However, that seemed to have changed today, as he made a post, calling out his ex-girlfriend for bombarding him with text messages and calls, asking that they got back together. He posted screenshots of the messages she allegedly sent to him, alongside the call logs on Instagram that had her username visible for all to see.
In his caption, he stated that he was framed by his ex-girlfriend, and that she ruined his life. Lil Frosh went on to say that he lost his fans, and still in the caption, he added that Davido should please take him back and give him one more chance.
Note that throughout the allegations Lil Frosh faced, he never agreed to hitting Cute Gemini, and causing her face to swell. He only apologized for slapping her once, and in a revelation, he mentioned that he slapped her because she had disrespected his mother.
