She started off by talking about her driving force, which was her determination to work hard and succeed, and instead of dreaming of marriage like other girls her age, Nancy Isime said that she dreamed of working and making money.
Nancy Isime also said that she works hard to provide for herself, so she can never be threatened by someone walking away from her life and losing the benefits she may have gained from that person.
Going forward, Nancy Isime said that there’s no way you would be popular in the movie industry and not get dirt thrown on your name, but she’s mastered the art of ignoring negativity, and instead focusing on her work.
On the matter of her work as an actress, Nancy Isime said that she takes it very serious because the likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Mercy Johnson, and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde put in a lot of work to be able to stand on the pedestal that they do today.
Nancy Isime said that she has a strong work ethic because if she flops as an actress, and that is why she puts in a lot of work in her craft.
She also spoke about how Nigerians are quick to want to put you down, so long as they notice that you’re shining bright and doing your work as you should.
Over the years, Nancy Isime has experienced a thin trail of controversy, mostly surrounding her body, and in the most recent drama, she was listed by Gistlover’s blog to be among Senator Akpabio’s girlfriend.
Apart from the drama with Senator Akpabio, Nancy Isime also entered hot waters with the Muslim community, when she posted a picture of herself from a movie scene wearing a Niqab.
A Muslim lady called her out, citing that she was disrespecting her religion, and that she should tender an apology to the Muslim community in Nigeria.
Nancy Isime’s silence on the matter made the drama die fast, and it was soon forgotten as quick as it came.
