Nollywood actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima has joined the list of celebrities venturing into politics. The beautiful actress is taking a shot at the office of Local Government Chairman for Okrika Local Government in Rivers state.
It will be interesting to see if she has the connections to see her overcome other contenders for the position within the PDP. She is going for the position on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
If she emerges the party’s flag bearer, then one can conclude that she will eventual find herself in the office of the chairman due to the party’s huge following in the Local Government.
Born to a Nigerian father and an Irish mother, Ibinabo Fiberesima began her education when she enrolled as a student at the Y.M.C.A Play Centre, Port Harcourt before she proceeded with her secondary school education at Federal Government Girls College, New Bussa, Niger State. She holds a Bachelor of Arts certificate in English Language and Literature which she obtained from the University of Ibadan.
She is an ex-beauty pageant, event manager and former President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
