Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has poked fun at his colleague and friend Toyin Abraham over her weight and tummy.
The wife of Kolawole Ajeyemi had visited his film village, which she described as beautiful. In the clip she posted online, the actor and other cast members teased the actress not to eat too much because of her stomach. Toyin Abraham, in defence, noted how she had lost weight as she revealed she only eats chew gums.
“I went to visit my darling uncle @ibrahimchatta_lordthespis. His film village is so beautiful, I mean extremely beautiful”.
It’s good to see Toyin in a light mood, as she has been in the news for the wrong reasons these past few days.
During the weekend, Toyin came under fire after she hailed Kehinde Bankole for winning the Best Actress award at the AMVCA. Many opined that the movie star was happy because her rival, Funke, didn’t win any awards.
She was also dragged after she penned a note to the organisers of the award ceremony, crowning it the best and realest so far. Her statement didn’t sit well with many, who felt it was a dig at Funke.
A week before the event, Toyin had reignited movie battle with Funke after she teased her newest project, a sequel to her popular movie, Alakada, which will premiere in December. The news left many divided as some noted how the actress was following in the footsteps of her rival, Funke Akindele, who announced a week before her that she was releasing a sequel to her hit movie, Jenifa.
Later, she shared a cryptic post, stating that no one is perfect, as she noted how people make mistakes. However, they get up, learn, grow, move on and live.
In other news, Toyin Abraham warned her overzealous fans for responding negatively to her trolls.
She pleaded and warned those creating a fan page with her name to cease bullying or cursing anyone, as she made them know that any curse, abuse or bullying would not move her.
