The Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola has taken to his twitter page to console Afrobeats music star, Davido over the loss of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Kemi Filani News notes that Davido and Governor Oyetola have not been friends as the singer always shade him. This comes after Davido’s uncle, Senetor Ademola Adeleke won the State election held on 16th July 2022 und the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Governor Oyetola join the world in mouring Ifeanyi
Setting politics asides, Governor Oyetola took to his instagram page to console Davido. According to him, it is sad to see the ypung champ who was bubbling a week befroe now reffered to as being in the past. Oyetola also extended his greetings to Davido’s father, Daji Adeleke.
He wrote: “Sad to learn of the unfortunate passing of Ifeanyi, son of music star, David Adeleke popularly known as @davido. On behalf of my family and the people of Osun, I sympathise with Davido, over this heart-rending incident.
“I know how painful it is to see a boy we all saw last week bubbling with life to now be referred to in the past. I pray God comfort you and Chioma. Rest assured, very soon, God will bless you both with another son who will live long to fulfill his dreams in life.
“I also sympathise with Davido’s father, Dr. Deji Adeleke, over the death of his beloved grandson. As a grandfather myself, I feel and share your pains. I pray God to comfort you and the entire Adeleke family at this moment of grief. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.”
Source reveals Davido’s reaction to Ifeanyi’s death
Kemi Filani News reported that a source close to Davido’s camp revealed how the singer responded when he was informed of the tragedy that had befallen him due to the passing of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The close source claims that Davido was acting strangely at home to the point that he almost lost his sanity.
“Davido ran mad. He literally tore his clothes and wanted to run into the streets. He was held back. He and Chioma are inconsolable”.
