Filmmaker and comedian, Ganiyu Kehinde popularly known as Ijoba Lande has finally spoken out on his disappearance.
The movie practitioner, in an Instagram live session started off by appreciating Nigerians for their love and concern for him. According to him, this is the first time, he is receiving such love.
Speaking on his disappearance, he stated that he wasn’t kidnapped, but left his house on his own accord.
He revealed that he never knew what depression is until he experienced it, though he is still recovering, he believes he would be better as the day goes on.
Ijoba appreciated Esabod, Tunde Ednut, Gistlover and Kokun Foundation for their love and support as he tenders apology to them.
“Esabod, Kokun, Tunde Ednut, Gistlover… I appreciate you, if I ever offend you, please forgive me. The Lord doesn’t like the thing I did, help me beg God for mercy.
I didn’t know depression is real until I went through it. I haven’t gotten myself well, but I am a bit okay. There is so much to say. It’s your prayer that worked for me”.
Ijoba Lande is found after 4days of being missing
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that it was good news for the family and friends of Ijoba Lande as the comedian had been found.
On Tuesday, Yoruba Nollywood stars had raised alarm over the disappearance of the comedian cum filmmaker.
Actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday had raised the alarm after a disturbing post was made on his Instagram page hinting at his sudden disappearance.
His wife, in a video which went viral, had cried out over the comedian’s sudden disappearance. According to her, the comedian didn’t return home after he left the house on March 26th. To worsen the situation, Ijoba Lande had left his phone at home.
Sharing a photo of him, she urged the public to contact the nearest police station if they see him anywhere.
To God be the glory, Ijoba was found.
Actress, Kemi Korede shared the good news on her Instagram page, where she and Ijoba’s wife could be seen rushing to the car as he returned home.
In the video, a cleric could be seen bringing Ijoba Lande out from the car as he broke down in tears as family and loved ones surrounded him.
