Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem and All Stars former housemate, Ike Onyema has thrown a subtle shade at his colleagues, Pere Egbi and Phyna.
The ex-boyfriend of Mercy Eke, via the micro-blogging platform Twitter now known as X, appealed to South Africans following their loss at the 2023 AFCON.
He appealed to them to give Nigerians their fast-rising singer, Tyla, who beat Davido, Ayra Starr, and others to win a Grammy Award. In exchange for her, Nigerians would give them Pere Egbi and can add Phyna as a bonus.

His tweet caused a stir online as some slammed him for trying to stir drama between him and Phyna, who is always known to hit back at her haters.

In other news, Ike Onyema recently shared his opinion on broke people, admonishing people to stay clear from them.
Giving reasons, he expressed that broke people are not supportive, lack gratitude, have a sense of entitlement, and more.
Recall that back in January of 2024, on the 5th of January, Ike Onyema revealed why men don’t love to squat at the woman’s place.
A Twitter user had asked a question on the reason most men hesitate to spend the night at the woman’s house. Ike responded by stating that most men do that to avoid hearing that the woman is the one taking care of them.
Lots of netizens could not help but draw a connection to his remark and his previous relationship with his ex-partner, Mercy.
Recall that while Ike was dating Mercy, she had revealed that at some point she used to give him a monthly boyfriend allowance.
