Ilebaye, the recent winner of Big Brother Niger All-Stars, found herself at the center of controversy following a public outburst during an interview with Charles of Glitch Africa Studio.
Charles, a well-known TV host and interviewer, took to social media to share his side of the story. According to him, he had invited Ilebaye for an interview at the studio, but upon her arrival, he overheard her screaming at her chaperone. Concerned about the commotion, Charles went outside to investigate the situation, but by then, Ilebaye had left in her car without providing an explanation or meeting the production team.
Charles further explained that when Ilebaye arrived at the studio, they were already in the midst of recording with other guests, Pere and Adekunle. This meant that they couldn’t interrupt the ongoing session to accommodate her. As a result, she had to wait for the next session, which was scheduled with her and Cross.
In a frank and candid statement, Charles voiced his frustration, revealing that despite Ilebaye’s significant win on the reality show, it had not necessarily translated into exemplary character. He concluded by describing her behavior as disrespectful to the entire team at Glitch Africa Studio.
Taking to his Instagram story, Charles revealed that during the incident, Ilebaye repeatedly questioned why she was made to wait and expressed her indignation. He ended his posts with a thought-provoking remark: “Celebrity of yesterday, truly money doesn’t buy class.”
