She expressed that she was loving the new Wizkid and that he did not really send or care about anybody. She further stated that she could possibly change who her favourite is because at the moment it was only Wizkid that was making her happy.
Now this was in response to Wizkid’s consistent social media rants in the past days. Recall that some days ago, Wizkid had come online to reveal that he should not be referred to as an Afrobeat artist going forward. He further slammed and trolled people who were still stuck in his past music to evolve or not download his songs.
However, netizens did not take this lightly with him as they took to social media to troll him. They slammed him for being disrespectful to Afrobeat music, especially as one of the pioneers of Afrobeat.
However, in a recent development, Kemi Flani had also reported that Wizkid had come online to defend himself against the trolls. He revealed that his statement was made based off the fact that even though he was an African artist, the kind of sounds and music that he created were much more than just African music.
He also told his Gullible fans and followers to educate themselves properly. He also disclosed that the major reason why a lot of amazing Afro-African songs were not being nominated in the Afrobeat section is because of the lack of diversity that most African artists have.
Just a few minutes ago, Kemi Flani had reported that Wizkid had once again come on social media to slam his trolls. He called them out and even went as far as calling them bastards. He also told them to try and eat instead of trolling him.
