Colleagues and friends of popular gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo have kept mum after news broke out and the singer confessed that he cheated on his wife with a US-based lady.
The lady identified as African Doll, had on Monday called out the singer, saying he abandoned her after learning that their affair had led to pregnancy.
”We both know that we didn’t use protection. We both know that we were wrong. There is still a way to handle things. He didn’t handle it right. I am not saying he has to bow to me but there is a way you do things.
“Turning your back on me is wrong. Any woman on earth won’t feel okay about it. It doesn’t feel good to be abandoned or to be thrown to the side. I cannot be walking around thinking about it, life goes on,” she told Obodo Oyinbo TV.
On Tuesday January 25th, Mike Abdul had shared a subtle post on Instagram praying for the restoration of the talented gospel artiste.
Amazingly, none of Okposo’s close collaborators like Tope Alabi, Mercy Chinwo, Akpororo and others have thrown their support behind the singer.In the same vein, none of them have also condemned the incident. Though Tope Alabi still shared the flyer of her forthcoming concert which still maintains the picture of Sammie Okposo as one of the guest artistes.
Observers in the Nigerian gospel music industry are wondering if the practitioners are truly their brother’s keeper.
