Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has stirred the internet with the news of her engagement.
The mother of one and chocolate-skinned beauty, via her Instagram story, revealed that she is engaged.
While showing off her engagement ring, Ini stated that she is engaged to Jesus Christ.
“My engagement ring, I am getting married to Jesus”.
The video which has stirred reactions, left many questioning if the movie star isn’t too old for marriage.

Recall that Ini Edo was once married to Edo businessman, Philip Ehiagwina in 2008, but the marriage hit the rock in 2014. The mother of one has since welcomed a child through surrogacy.
Ini Edo opens up on her failed marriage and surrogacy
Speaking about her crashed marriage in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the mother of one revealed that she regretted getting married because it wasn’t the right move to make.
Despite her failed marriage, Ini Edo is still hoping to get married again whenever she meets the right person.
On why she chose surrogacy, Ini Edo stated that she had several miscarriages which made her give up on having her child herself.
Since she didn’t have a husband, she decided on surrogacy since she was in dire need of a child.

Recall that in 2021, Ini Edo opened up about having a baby through surrogacy and how beautiful it feels to be a mother.
In an interview with Stella Dimoko Korkus, Ini Edo confirmed the news of her baby, stating the eggs belong to her; hence genetically, the baby is her blood.
However, Ini Edo failed to disclose the sperm donor stating that her baby’s peace of mind is paramount to her, and it is an incredible feeling being a mother.
Speaking on motherhood, she described it as an awesome feeling.
