Nollywood actress In Edo has reacted to the death of her colleague Pope Odondwo popularly known as Junior Pope who tragically lost his life in the river while shooting a movie.
The actress slammed the poor structure of the industry that has taken a toll on them. She lamented the actor’s death which she called a sacrifice for the realization of the need of the much needed regulation and structure that would safeguard an entire production.
Ini Edo taunted her colleague, Adanma Luke who, was the producer of the movie that took the lives of many a few hours ago. She urged those who aspire to be a producer and are not qualified for the job to stop because they are guilty of negligence.
The mother of one called Junior Pope’s death as one of the sacrifice that must count and urged the system to undergo a total overhaul with rules and regulations that will cater to everyone.
“Jnr Pope did not have to sacrifice his life for nollywood to realize the need for a long and much needed regulatory structure that would safeguard an entire production . Yes .. every one is a producer now and all are guilty of negligence of some sort.. and this has to stop. This is one sacrifice too many and must count for something … The system has to undergo a total overhaul with practical rules and regulations that caters to everyone in cases of emergencies….
