Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle has no doubt come a long way in the movie industry.
The actress who has paid her dues deserves all the accolades coming her way.
The thespian took to her Instagram page hours ago to announce her new achievement which is joining the list of Doctorate degrees holder.
Expressing her joy, Ireti revealed that she never foresaw her new achievement.
According to her, she has envisaged many things for herself but she didn’t see this coming.
“I have envisaged many things for myself….and having put, and still putting in the work, I have a healthy expectation of receiving “accolades”. But at no point did I see THIS coming….. Mommy would have been mighty proud!? Dr Doyle had a nice ring to it!!@iscg_university__ I am highly honored….thank you!”.
This year has been raining honorary degree for many celebrities as weeks back, Tiwa Savage who continues to put the country on the world map in a positive way had bagged an honorary degree.
The University of Kent, which is Tiwa Savage’s alma mater, had shortlisted her and many others to receive the prestigious degree.
Tiwa Savage and 2021 Nobel Laureate for literature, Abdulrazak Gurnah were among Kent honorary graduands for July 2022.
In an official statement, the University of Kent described the singer as one of the inspirational individuals who will be awarded with the degree.
Tiwa Savage completed a degree in Business Administration at the University before winning a scholarship to study Professional Music at the Berklee College of Music, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.
Tiwa Savage took to her Instagram live session to share footages from the ceremony.
The graduation ceremony took place at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals, USA.
Also, IK Ogbonna joined the Doctors club as he bagged an honorary degree.
Just like his senior colleague Hilda Dokubo had bagged a Doctorate Degree of Arts in Leadership and development from the prestigious Institute Suprereur of Technologies Et De Management, the light-skinned actor also bagged a degree.
Thr divorced father of two shared the good news via his verified Instagram page, where he further revealed that he is very honoured to be addressed as a Dr. “Introducing Dr (Hon) IKECHUKWU MITCHEL OGBONNA. Thanks to the governing council of INSTITUT SUPERIEUR DE TECHNOLOGIES ET DE MANAGEMENT (ISTM UNIVERSITY) for conferring on me Doctorate (Honorary) Degree in Arts in leadership and Development,” he wrote.
