Isreal DMW, the logistics manager to Davido, has reacted to the heavy backlash he received for disrespecting his boss’ rival, Wizkid.
It is no longer news that Davido and Wizkid have fallen out again and in defense of his boss, Isreal DMW had expressed displeasure at Wizkid, calling him a dãft person. He advised him to retire from music instead of resigning messily.
His statement didn’t sit well with Wizkid’s fans who filthy dragged him and now reacting to the backlash, he noted how he has always publicly loved and respected Wizkid. He further noted how Davido has never disrespected Wizkid like blogger, Linda Ikeji did.
Questioning how he disrespected the Grammy singer, he pointed out how Wizkid was the one who started the whole thing as he wondered if people expected him to have kept quiet while Wizkid disrespected his boss.
“How have I disrespected Wiz, that’s what some of you nuisance are currently saying? Who started the whole thing? Who first came for who? We should have just kept quiet, when he came for our leader? I have always loved and respected Wiz with all my life and I never pretended one day. I would always beg Oga to make leave with him. I would always call Femi to arrange for him and Oga to see and wine together. Morgan would always tell me and Oga that Wiz can’t be trusted for friendship. That he would one day come for us, but we didn’t believe at all. Oga, has never at anytime ordered any of us to disrespect Wiz. Oga no be Linda Ikeji na”.
Kemi Filani reported that Wizkid had triggered Davido after he shared an embarrassing video of Davido begging a lady for presumably sex. He shared the video online while engaging with his fans who were pestering him to drop music, urging them to beg him as Davido did.
Replying to him, Davido called out Wizkid for being a sick man and accused him of being a woman beater. He also pleaded with Wizkid to respond to him, and he did by using the same embarrassing video and Davido had mercilessly dragged him.
Also weighing into it, Cynthia Morgan stated that she thought Davido was going to laugh off Wizkid’s tweet. She noted how when one don’t pop off when they should, things would get crãzy. However, she doesn’t blame Davido for replying him.
Talent manager Paulo Okoye had expressed disappointment in them as he urged them to stop, describing their actions as shameful.
Celebrity designer and fashion stylist,, Toyin Lawani of Tiannah Empire issued a message to those weighing into the ongoing beef, warning them that they would look like fools.
Meanwhile, music producer Samklef had pitched tent, revealing that without Wizkid, the likes of Davido would not have a platform. He stated that Wizkid was the reason why kids were doing music today.
Joining him, Big Brother Naija winner Phyna had also pitched a tent with Wizkid, as she boldly expressed that Wizkid was her ”Popsy” and declared love for him.
