Isreal DMW the logistics manager to music star, Davido has dropped some updates from his boss’s upcoming wedding to Chioma.
Kemi Filani reported last week that blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus announced that the couple would marry traditionally in the next two weeks, precisely June 25th, in Eko Hotel, Lagos. Davido, had later confirmed the news in London, as he was captured with celebrity pastor Tobi Adegboyega, speaking about his wedding. He told someone in the crowd to make himself available in Nigeria as his wedding is on June 25th.
Taking to his Instagram story, Israel DMW had shared souvenirs form the star’s upcoming wedding. In his caption, he stated that June 25th is the gathering of billionaires.
“June 25th, the gathering of billionaires”.
In another post, he shared a photo of Davido, as he hailed him. He wrote, “Sabi man. Respect”.
A few days back, Isreal had penned a heartfelt note to Chioma, noting how she deserves to have the entire Lagos being shutdown just for her. He praised her for her good characters as he noted how beauty alone can’t keep a marriage. Isreal stated that Chioma is one of the vital reasons, why Davido keeps soaring and always happy.
Ahead of his wedding next week, Davido had recruited his former lawyer, Bobo Ajudua as one of his groomsmen. Despite their fallout, the former lawyer to the singer is part of his groom’s train, which mostly includes his close associates from secondary school and higher institution and a few from the entertainment industry.
Recall that in November 2022, Davido secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death. The traditional wedding, which was done in his father’s house, had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed, and Chioma’s bride price was paid in full.
In January 2023, Davido finally paid Chioma’s bride price (Umunna) in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo state. In photos and videos posted online, Chioma’s dad could be seen performing the Umunna rites and Umuada rites.
Confirming his marriage in an interview in March, he said he is happily married while showing off his wedding ring. He told viewers that he got married during his break.
