Nollywood actor and movie producer, Ibrahim Yekini otherwise known as Itele has bagged double awards at the just concluded Emperor Awards which was held on Sunday night.
Taking to his Instagram page, the talented role interpreter expressed gratitude to his fans as he noted how making people laugh through movies, isn’t an easy task.
He appreciated the organizers of the award for recognizing how hard he works in comedy movies.
Itele had bagged awards for Best Actor of the Year and Best Director of the Year. He had beaten Afeez Owo, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Segun Ogungbe and others to clinch the Best Director award.

Ibrahim Yekini ‘Itele’ grateful as he bags Leadership award
The double awards are coming just a few days after he bagged a leadership award.
The movie star, who is gearing up for his new movie in August, was awarded an Icon Leadership award for his contributions to entertainment. The award is also a reflection of his character in society and mentorship to the youth.
Expressing gratitude to the organizers, Itele noted how many give awards, but God gives rewards.
He expressed how humbled and grateful he is for the recognition of his talent.
“Man gives you the award but God gives reward. Winning an award is always a special moment.
An award recognizing talent is an honor… I’m humble and grateful”.
Itele unveils new project
The movie star is currently gearing up for his latest project which he unveiled weeks back.
He announced, via his Instagram page, that his new movie, Kesari is set to premiere in August.
“He is back with a new narration. New face, new disciple, new priorities. He walks in the dark because he understands the darkness… He fears no danger because of the dangerous work for him. The world and its hidden places are his Nation. He is KESARI. The king.
