Kemi Filani News recalls that Laycon had once revealed that NASU strike robbed him of opportunity to study in the UK.
According to him:” Laycon said at the time, he was billed to travel to the varsity but did not go eventually as he couldn’t obtain his transcript which was an essential requirements to facilitate the process.
“There are lots of such moments for me. When I rejected admissions into different schools just because I wanted to go into the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is one,” he said.
“Also, when I got the opportunity to study in a university in Newcastle, UK but I couldn’t go because I did not get my transcript due to the fact NASU was on strike at the time.”
