Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo is once again in the news for the wrong reason as unseen footage of her body-shaming a then-pregnant Laura Ikeji surfaces online.
In the clip, the movie star who is one of the cast of Real Housewives of Lagos had body shamed Laura in a pool scene at Salt Beach. Iyabo had stated that Laura Ikeji can’t rock a bikini because she isn’t sexy. Iyabo added that Laura couldn’t come into the pool because of her legs, which she likened to a yam.
During the reunion, Laura noted how Iyabo heavily body-shamed her without knowing she was pregnant.
“When we came downstairs, the first thing Iyabo told me was to wear my bikini to the pool and I can’t show my body because my body isn’t fine. Look at your leg, your leg is big, look at your tummy and I was fùcking pregnant”.
The video has since sparked outrage online with many pointing out the hypocrisy of how Iyabo was fighting for Mohbad, yet was bullying others.

Last year, a then very pregnant Laura Ikeji slammed Iyabo revealing that the respect she once had for Iyabo as an idol has been diminished. She further called her out for her bullying behavior.
Hitting back at her, Iyabo slammed Laura for playing the victim, pointed out how her blogger sister, Linda Ikeji is the Queen of Bullies, and recounted the lies the famous blogger wrote about her.
In a later post, Ojo lashed out at the producers of the reality show, stating that she had been trying to hold herself so that everyone could enjoy the show, but couldn’t hold it any longer
Calling out the production team, she slammed them for their cut and joined which she considers irritating and annoying. She questioned why they cut out a particular scene which led up to her outburst.
In a surprising twist, Iyabo Ojo had bowed to pressure and had tendered a deep apology to Laura and Faith Morey.
The mother of two denounced any form of bullying, as she stated that she has remained the same person over the years and stands for justice and fairness. However, in the midst of it all, she admitted that she offended some people with her behavior, which are certain attributes to bullies and as such, she is apologizing for it.
