Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo Fespris has joined her colleague in mourning the death of actor Murphy Afolabi, who reportedly died today.
Nollywood stars also declared today as a Black Sunday because the movie industry lost two actors. Many took to their timelines to share dark images to mourn the death of Murphy Afolabi.
Actor Murphy Afolabi’sdeath came as a shock to many as the actor recently marked his 49th birthday on the 5th of May. Reports by Seun Oloketuyi claimed the actor lost his life after slipping on bathroom tiles.
Nollywood artistes, including Adeniyi Johnson, Papa Show, Biola Bayo, Damola Olatunjji, Sam Olatunji, Yinka Solomon, Mercy Aigbe, Kemi Korede and a host of others mourned their colleagues’ death on social media.

Richard Mofe Damijo mourns Saint Obi
In like manner, Richard Mofe Damijo RMD penned a warm note to mourn the demise of one of his closest friends, Saint Obi, whose death also came as a rude shock to many.
Kemi Filani reported that Obi Nwafor who is better known as Saint Obi died on the 7th of May, in the home of one of his siblings who resides in Jos.
The death of the actor who died after a prolonged illness was kept under wraps because of the reported disagreement between his siblings.
The veteran was aged 57 years and has three kids who he shares with estranged, Linda Amobi. The estranged couple were engaged in a bitter divorce custody battle before his untimely death.
Sharing a photo of Saint Obi on Instagram, RMD recounts the heartwarming moment he recommended the deceased to one of his other friends, Zeb Ejiro, who did more productions than anyone else.
