Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has written a beautiful note to mothers.
In a post on her Instagram page, she stated that if they have children who love and support them and strive to make them proud, they should know that they are truly special. She stated that no amount of sacrifice or struggle can compare to the unconditional love their children will give back as their love is a reflection of God’s love for you.
The mother of two added that as a parent, they are blessed to have such wonderful children as she assured them that God’s divine life surrounds them. She reminded them that God will never leave their side and that their children’s lives and devotion are a testament to His presence in their lives.

This isn’t the first time Iyabo has sent a message to mothers. In a past post, she provided moral support and encouragement to single mothers, as she noted how single motherhood can be depressing, discouraging, upsetting, and rough.
Iyabo described single mothers as the strongest, boldest, most determined, and most selfless persons on earth, as she advised them to give their kids the care, support, encouragement, discipline, and prayers they need.
Two years back, Iyabo shared her painful experiences of surviving as a single mother and being treated as a second-class citizen due to her failed marriage. Iyabo recounted how people called her all manner of names because of her failed marriage both in the movie industry and the world at large.
