Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has revealed her desire for her daughter, Priscilla Ojo to get married at a young age.
The mother of two, while attending her daughter’s 23rd birthday bash on Wednesday evening, stated that she wants her daughter to get married early. Iyabo noted how she got married at a young age and had Priscilla at a young age. She wants her daughter to be like her so she can also grow with her children, like she is doing.
The proud mother further stated that she is looking forward to Priscy getting married and having children as she noted how her daughter has done well for herself career and business-wise.
Iyabo further stated that Priscilla always avoids questions about marriage but she isn’t the type to put her child under pressure.
“I’m looking forward to her beautiful wedding day, having babies, I just wish her all the best and I love her. One good thing about Priscilla is that she’s very hardworking and she started at a very slow pace and I know it’s an age thing but now when I tell her ‘Priscilla you need to…’ she’s already ahead of everything I even want to talk to her about. And for me, I’ve always said don’t take away the ‘hood’ from the child, allow the child to grow and be themselves. I don’t like to put my children under any pressure at all so I allow them to be them. She’s doing well, she’s a brand influencer, she is gradually going back into acting, she runs her business, her clothing line, her bag line, so she’s doing good, she’s there. The only thing I’m waiting for now that she doesn’t want to hear me talk about is marriage.”
I had Priscilla when I was her age, 23, and I reminded her but she was like ‘Mummy that was your time, everybody is different’. I was like ‘You’re a graduate, you have a successful business, you’re doing fine’, she’s like ‘Mum, please! No rushing’.”
Recall that last year, Priscilla had sparked dating rumors when Enioluwa went public with their relationship. However, the two had stated that they were just friends which had left many in disbelief, especially with their constant public display of affection.
However, Priscilla set the record straight on their relationship as she shared a screenshot of her chat with Enioluwa which was friendly. Accompanying the screenshot was a message slamming those who think the oppos!te sex can’t be friends without any attachments.
In 2022, Priscilla was alleged to have been dating singer Kizz Daniel.
According to blogger Cutie Julls, Kizz Daniel flew into London on Tuesday, May 10, and Priscilla, who was in Dubai on vacation, flew in to join him in the country. The blogger alleged that Priscilla went to Kizz Daniel’s booked apartment and had been with him throughout the week.
Cutie Julls also claimed that Priscilla accompanied Kizz Daniel to his Manchester show and had arrived at the venue with Kizz Daniel in his Bentley.
