Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has finally revealed why she took a break from social media.
Kemi Filani reported days back that the Yoruba actress had returned to Instagram after days of being inactive.
Speaking out, the girlfriend of Pauloo Okoye revealed that she has been working on several projects with her children, Festus and Priscilla.
Iyabo announced that they would be opening their new clothing outlet on Sunday in Lekki, Lagos.
Expressing gratitude to God, she wrote,
“I have been off & on on social media for a while bcos my children & my humble self has been busy putting the finishing touches to our new clothing outlet that will be opening on Sunday the 30th April 2023 @ Chevron, Lekki, Lagos. It can only be God. Thank you, Lord, for all you have done, all that you’re doing & all that you will still do”.
Iyabo Ojo breaks silence after taking break from social media
Kemi Filani reported days back that Iyabo Ojo had made a return to social media after she took a short break from her media platforms.
It will be noted that, unlike the actress, she was last seen on the 23rd of April and before that, she barely made any posts about the recent Sallah break.
She finally made a post on the 25th of April and captioned her post with a cryptic message. She indicated that she could stand a trying period in her life by the grace of God.
She wrote: It’s only by his grace that I could have stood the test of time…….. who missed me?
Unsure of what Iyabo Ojo has been up to, fans have taken to the comment section to welcome her back and show concern for her due to her sudden absence”.

Weeks back, Iyabo took to Instagram to celebrate the 60th birthday of Keppy Ekpenyong, also known as Keppy, a prominent actor and producer in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
In her post, she expressed her gratitude to Keppy for the role he played in kickstarting her career.
Iyabo revealed that 25 years ago, Keppy gave her a referral note to give a then director. That little note was the starting point of her journey to a successful acting career. She went on to say that her success story would only be complete with Keppy’s support and encouragement.
In the post, Iyabo acknowledged Keppy as a great man and an icon in the industry. She thanked him and his wife for opening their doors to her and for accepting and believing in her.
She expressed her gratitude and wished Keppy a happy 60th birthday, praying that he would continue to flourish in God’s grace and blessings.
