Award-winning singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk better known as Iyanya has become a subject of discussion after he revealed the highest amount he has spent on his songs.
The former Mavins signee revealed that he spent 52 million naira on his hit song “Like” featuring Kizz Daniel and Davido.
The “Kukere” singer made this known while commenting on an Instagram post made by media personality, Adesope Olajide on Monday, March 27th.
According to him, when he dropped ‘Like’, he spent 52million on the song, video and promotion. Iyanya also revealed that the cheapest he has spent on a song since January, 2021 is 27million.
He, however, stated that this shouldn’t discourage upcoming artistes as they can do it as consistency is the key.
“When I dropped Like featuring Davido and Kizz Daniel, we spent 52 million naira on song, video and promotion. This should not discourage any up and coming artiste, you can do it all, all you need is consistency”.
It isn’t shocking to hear that Iyanya spent 52million on his song.

Recall that Nigerian music & video director, cinematographer, and filmmaker, Thank God Omori Jesam better known as TG Omori became a hot topic on Twitter after he revealed he doesn’t charge anything below N8 million.
The music director has shot music videos for recording artists across various genres of new generation which includes, Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Naira Marley, Timaya and many others.
With alot of artistes to his name, it’s not surprising that he charges above N8 million.
TG Omori made this known while reacting to a blog’s claims that he charges N8 million to shoot a music video.
Shutting the report down, TG Omori made it known that was it was last year, 2021 he charged 8 million.
This implied that the sought after music director is currently charging above N8 million.
