Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown has sent a message to his colleagues following the death of one of their own, Area Mama.
Kemi Filani reported on Thursday that the upcoming crossdresser, popularly known as ‘Abuja Area Mama,’ was found dead in the Banex, Wuse II area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. In videos that made rounds online, Area Mama was seen lying motionless along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on Thursday morning.
Josephine Adeh, spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, who confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body in a statement, said the Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, had ordered a thorough and discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Taking to his Instagram story, James Brown shared a video of him admonishing his colleagues to stay safe out there. He noted how what happened to Area Mama is sad as she was supposed to reduce her night work since she was becoming popular.
Brown revealed that he doesn’t wear his cross dressing outfits in public because he doesn’t have such boldness and courage. He made it known that he limits his female outfits to his Instagram pages or at home. The Duchess of London, as he is fondly called noted how it’s risky to be doing runs as a crossdresser.
“All cross Dressers in Nigeria Stay safe out there, What happened to Area Mama is sad, she was supposed to reduce her night work now that she was popular, Me I don’t have the mind to wear my cross dressing outfits out in public and stand by the roadside, mine is for Instagram content, movie and inside my house o, it’s very risky to be doing runs as a Popular cross dresser”.
Hours ago, he had earlier mourned his Area Mama, noting how he never met him. James noted how sinners are more mad at sinners because they sin differently.
Last year, James Brown explained why he chose to dress as a woman. The dramatic Duchess of London said he dresses like a woman because it pays the bills naturally. He also said that being a woman can make somebody rich, however, if the person is smart. He also offered to help if the fan was interested.
In another post, he opened up on the struggles of being a woman, admitting that becoming it hasn’t been easy for him. He revealed that sometimes he feels some way from how he used to. Further elaborating on his struggles, he claimed that he doesn’t urinate as a man again.
