Nollywood actor, Jamiu Azeez has shared his bizarre encounter with a police officer.
Taking to his Instagram page, he revealed that he was stopped at a police checkpoint and the officer asked him to do weekend for him and he didn’t oblige, telling the officer that he was also looking for who we do weekend for him.
Offended by his remark, the police officer started demanding his driver’s license and all documents pertaining to his car. After realizing that he had everything and his documents were valid, the police officer asked him for the receipt of his plate number, which left him baffled.
He questioned if receipts are now being given for plate numbers.
“So today, I was stopped at the police checkpoint and the officer asked me to do weekend for me too.
Na so Oga change face oo, then he asked me for my document and driver’s license and I gave it to him. After realizing all my documents were valid, Baba asked me for the receipt of my plate number. Abeg Shey Dem dey give receipt for plate number ni”.

The vibrant actor shared the post of the conversation he had with Toyin when he opened up about his recent state of mind and how he has been dying in silence for 2 years now. He claimed that nothing had been working for him and he felt lost and unsure of who to confide in but got tired of putting a brave front along the line.
Reacting to it, actress Opeyemi Aiyeola expressed gratitude to Toyin Abraham for coming through for him. She expressed how heartbroken she was over the news as she noted how good-hearted and hardworking Jamiu is.
However, she knows that life has a way of throwing challenges heavier than one’s expectations and capacity sometimes. She went on to send words of encouragement to him and admonished him to hold onto his faith.
