Nollywood actress, Jaiye Kuti otherwise known as Jayeola Monje has made a public appeal to singer, Portable over his forthcoming fight with actor, Charles Okocha.
The drama kicked off when Portable accused Charles of swindling him. According to Portable, Okocha pocketed a whopping 40 million Naira from some promoters for a show in Desmond, Abuja.
Portable claimed he ended up with a mere 5 million Naira from Okocha. Feeling shortchanged, Portable called Okocha out, labeling him a thief for not sharing the money fairly.
In response, Okocha claimed to be the mastermind behind the deal and simply invited Portable as a guest, explaining that he even flew Portable from Lagos to Abuja for the event.
Regarding the payment, Okocha stated he had no formal agreement with Portable, so he paid him what he thought was reasonable – 5 million Naira.
However, Portable didn’t agree to this feeling like he was being ripped off after being paid just 5 million naira. He fired back, challenging Okocha to a face-off in Lagos. His threat suggests that things could get physical if Okocha ever showed his face in Lagos.
Weighing in, Jayeola Monje appealed to Portable to avoid a physical fight with Charles Okocha. She called on her fans to join her in begging the controversial singer.

The award-winning filmmaker had shared her ordeal with area boys, who took advantage of their weakness to make money for themselves.
Reacting to it, Jayeola Monje penned a deep note to her, noting how she feels her pain and can relate to it. Expressing outbreak over her situation, she stated that the only hope we have as citizens is the government but they hear our cries and play deaf ears to it.
Providing a solution, Jayeola urged theater practitioners to come under one vice and protest against the wicked act.
