Nollywood actor Jide Awobona has called out popular film director and screen writer, Abiodun Jimoh popularly known. As Abey Jomo over his epic transformation.
The talented actor, who is playing a lead role in the movie, Inspector Jero was placed on a heavy strict diet for his character. Sharing a screenshot of his chat with the director, Jide was told to start fasting and avoid eating till sunset; stop drinking till 7 and to start eating a slice of water melon in the morning.
From the chat, the director wanted him to have sunken eyes and a hungry look. A bewildered Jide expressed shock over the strict rules as he took to his Instagram to cry for help.
Questioning what he has done to him, he lamented over the rules all because he wanted to make a movie.

Similarly, Bukunmi Oluwasina had proven how far she can go in interpreting her movie roles by shaving her hair and going on a diet.
According to her, in her ten years of being an actor, this role was the most challenging and breathtaking role she had ever played. However, she was glad she can wear it like a dress.
Last year, Jide Awobona had expressed joy as he faced his fear. The movie star, shared photos of him in a hospital bed, as he expressed joy over overcoming his fears, though he admitted that it wasn’t easy.
In other news, Awobona had made a case for his colleague, Adanma Luke, who was been dragged over the death of Junior Pope and others.
He noted how such an unfortunate incident could have befallen anybody. He stated that it is a norm in Nollywood and when one refuses to do certain things, they are being tagged as difficult and called unprofessional.
